Overview

HNMs are special monsters spread throughout Vana'diel. These monsters require teamwork to kill from multiple jobs of higher levels. Because of thier difficulty, thier rewards are great and vastly sought after by the people of Final Fantasy. Some are used to make members stronger and some are made to make them richer. No matter what the outcome, it is these monsters that have cause the evolution of HNM Linkshells..

Bringer of the Dawn HNM Rules

  1. BotD rarely camps these NMs. Individual members band together to fight stuff for each other but we do NOT regularly camp HNMs nor do we force people to go to them.
  2. It is the responsibility of BotD members to obtain and keep record of HNM Time of Deaths. If you are found to be giving the ToD to people outside of the LS, you will be kicked immediately.
  3. In order to receive money from a successful HNM camp, you must be present for the camp and the fight. If you come to the camp late, it is up to the Alliance whether you receive any reward. This should be discussed before the fight and not after. If the alliance is short on members and requests your presence, you will automatically get a reward. If you come to an HNM event with only 1 hour left in the window, you must assume you will not get any money.
  4. Items from HNM camps fit into 3 categories.
    1. Money. These are the items that will be sold for gil.
    2. Equipment. If someone in the alliance is in need of the dropped item they may buy it for 1/2 the current Auction House price. This has to be decided before the item drops, unless the Alliance agrees afterwards.
    3. Special. These are the elite items from certain HNMs. If people need them, they can be sold to members with a cap of 10M gil. This would include drops off of KA and LoO. These items may not be sold in order to make gil. If you are caught selling one of these items, you must pay the alliance that was there an equal share.
      1. Special items from Kings and other rare HNMs drop items that will be issued to members based on thier attendance. If a member regularly camps thes HNMs and is an active member in the LS, they will be able to lot. If the member never attends BotD event and only shows up after the claim, they will not be able to lot. These include: Abjurations dropped, Ridill and any other item I may have forgotten.
